For Ramara Ward 4 Council
"Good decisions begin with good information."
Responsible spending.
Better infrastructure.
Open government.

Meet Michael

Michael's connection to Ramara spans more than 30 years. A University of Waterloo graduate, he brings 35 years of experience in information technology and data analytics to his candidacy for Ward 4.
Now serving as Chair of Ramara's Trails Committee and Economic Development Committee, Michael has gained first-hand experience working with residents, staff and Council. He wants to put his professional experience and community involvement to work for Ward 4.
Key Priorities
Fairness Matters
Fiscal Accountability
Ramara needs long-term planning for roads, drainage, water and wastewater infrastructure. Michael supports responsible investment in municipal systems while ensuring residents who rely on private wells and septic systems receive fair consideration in municipal decisions.
Open Government
Michael supports responsible spending, careful financial oversight and clear explanations of how tax dollars are being used. He will explore the creation of an Audit Advisory Committee and bring a numbers-driven approach to reviewing budgets and major municipal investments.
Residents deserve to understand how and why Council makes decisions. Michael supports accessible public records, continued access to Council meeting videos and respectful, constructive debate. He will ask questions, explain his decisions and encourage greater transparency at Council.
MY COMMITMENT
Serving the Place
We Call Home
Ramara has been part of my family's life for more than 30 years.
It is where we chose to build our home and where I now have the
opportunity to give back.
I believe good municipal government starts with listening, asking questions and understanding the facts before decisions are made. I want to work constructively with residents, staff and fellow members of Council to
protect what makes Ramara special while planning responsibly for the services and infrastructure our community will need in the years ahead.
What you can expect from me.
I will come prepared. I will listen. I will ask questions. I will explain my decisions
